Yvonne is now retired from her position as Head of Service for Primary Care Liaison and Specialist Services at Western Health and Social Services Trust. Yvonne was previously an Assistant Programme Manager for Recovery Services and prior to that, an Addiction Services Manager within the former Foyle Health and Social Care Trust. Yvonne has more than 35 year’s experience across the health and social care field. She began her career as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and worked in long stay rehabilitation wards and psycho geriatric wards before moving onto the Addictions Team where she was promoted to Senior Staff Nurse and then onto a Therapist within the Psychosexual Team. Yvonne is currently working with the Public Health Agency (PHA) and Health and Social Care (HSC) in Northern Ireland, undertaking a review of addiction services which will inform future service provision in Northern Ireland.
