History:<\/h5>\n

Approximately 6 years ago Depaul’s Cloverhill<\/a> family accommodation based service ran a pilot project to quantify the need for a floating support service to support families moving on from Depaul’s family accommodation based services. <\/span>The project clearly identified a gap in supports leading to Family Services Floating Support service been established. <\/span>This vital service now provides support to NIHE<\/a> family hostels.<\/span><\/p>\n

What we do:<\/h5>\n

Every family will have different needs so as soon as engagement begins they are appointed a support worker who will work with them to create and implement a personalised support plan depending on their families individual needs. <\/span>The support is very flexible and can last for as long or short a time as needed, though not normally longer than two years at any one time. The service is also flexible in that families can re-refer back in as many times as needed for support.<\/span><\/p>\n

This service works in the Greater Belfast and Lisburn areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Families can be referred through Depaul family accommodation based services, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive<\/a>, Social Services<\/a> or families can self-refer by contacting the service directly.<\/span><\/p>\n
