History:<\/h5>\n

Depaul’s Cos\u00e1n Nua or ‘New Path’<\/em> service has been working with people living in Direct Provision since March 2019. The service was born out of our continued work with our Migrant Homeless Action Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What we do:<\/h5>\n

Cos\u00e1n Nua is an inter-county Depaul Service. We\u00a0 support people in Direct Provision who have received their status, have the right to remain in the country and now are ready to move on from Direct Provision.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Case Management Workers\u00a0 provide focused support towards resettlement and community integration. We also act as a referral agent to access specialised supports in the areas of mental health, addiction, education, training, employment, legal, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where we operate:<\/h5>\n

Cosan Nua works with people residing in Direct Provision in counties all across Ireland including Dublin, Meath, Sligo, Galway, Monaghan, Mayo, Louth, Westmeath and Longford.<\/p>\n

Cosan Nua is delivered in partnership with the Department of Justice<\/a> in Ireland.<\/p>\n

Referrals:<\/h5>\n

Referrals are accepted through the International Protection Accommodation Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n
