In 2025, Depaul, a leading cross-border charity supporting people who are experiencing homelessness, is marking two decades of service in Northern Ireland. Since opening the doors to its first service in 2005, Depaul Ireland has supported thousands of vulnerable individuals across Northern Ireland.
Commenting on the milestone, David Carroll, CEO of Depaul noted: “We’re incredibly proud of 20 years of working in Northern Ireland. During this time we have grown significantly – today more than 450 people receive support daily across our temporary accommodation and our community outreach services. While the daily challenges in this time have fluctuated – lack of housing continues to be a significant and constant issue – coupled with the health inequalities and challenges for the population we serve.”
