MARGARET O'DONOVAN
Margaret O’ Donovan is a member of the Rel. Congregation of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Sr Margaret trained as catechist in Mater Dei Institute which is now part of DCU and taught Religious education for nine years in Colaister Dhulaigh, Coolock. She also worked with a Vincentian Parish Team with the Travelling community for 10 years in the Dublin Diocese.
Margaret worked in Parish Ministry for 14 years in Cork and Belfast and served as a chaplain in Cloverhill prison for eight years and Shelton Abbey open prison for two years. When she retired she linked in with Depaul and did befriending work with two women. She has also volunteered in Depaul’s Little Britain Street service for over two years.
