Seán is presently chair of Depaul’s Services, Quality and Development committee. He retired from a career spanning senior management positions in community support and homeless services with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland, Dublin Simon Community and Housing Association for Integrated Living (HAIL).
He was a founder member and first chair of The Forum of People with Disabilities and advisor to The Commission on the Status of People with Disabilities. He has been a member of the Support Services Management Group of the Irish Council of Social Housing, Vice-Chair of DRHE’s Network of Homeless Service Providers, Board Member of the Disability Federation of Ireland. He was a member of HAIL’s Services Sub- committee and represented DFI on the HSE’s National Patients’ and Service Users’ Forum.
He has a BA (Eng & Psych), H.Dip In Ed and a Masters in Equality all from UCD.
