It was a cold winter’s night like this one when Patrick spent his first terrifying night on the street. He didn’t know it then, but he was to be homeless for another decade to come.

“I was 69 and living on the streets. I didn’t care if I lived or died – that’s the truth of it. I could see no hope…”  — Patrick

It was only when he turned to Depaul — when your kindness came into his life — that his path out of homelessness began.

Imagine how you’d feel if all your worldly possessions fit in a few carrier bags. That’s how it was for Patrick.

But today, you can help send someone like Patrick home with everything he needs to make his little flat feel like home.

From pots and pans, plates and cutlery to fresh bedding and sheets and even an electricity top-up card to see them through their first winter. Please, will you help?

Anything you can give today will mean the world to someone like Patrick as they take their first steps out of homelessness. Thank you for giving if you can.
