Sr MARGARET O’DONOVAN is part of the Daughter’s of Charity and is from Cork. Sr Margaret trained as catechist in Mater Dei Institute which is now part of DCU and thought Religious education for nine years in Colaister Dhulaigh, Coolock. She also worked with a Vincentian Parish Team with the Travelling community for 10 years in the Dublin Diocese.
Sr. Margaret completed her parish ministry in Cork and Belfast over 14 years and served as a chaplain in Cloverhill prison for eight years and Shelton Abbey open prison for two years. When she retired she linked in with Depaul and did befriending work with two women. She has also volunteered in Depaul’s Little Britain Street service for over two years.
