Ursula Fernée is a Social Science graduate and has worked in practitioner, training and managerial positions in both the voluntary and statutory sectors. She has extensive experience of criminal justice social work in London and in Ireland where she worked for more than 30 years in the Probation Service.
The challenges for people, in particular women, who experience homelessness have been central to Ursula’s work both in the community and in prisons. Since her retirement two years ago, she has volunteered with PACE, a registered Charity supporting the integration of those with criminal convictions. In addition to being a trustee, Ursula is a member of Depaul’s Standards, Quality and Development committee.
