Home for Christmas Campaign 2025

This Christmas, What if You Had No Home to Go To?

As the nation prepares for warm fires, good food, and time with loved ones, 16,614 people across Ireland, including over 5,000 children, will spend the festive season in emergency accommodation.

Homelessness is at a record high, and for thousands, there is no place to call Home for Christmas.

This Christmas help us to rebuild lives

Every night, Depaul’s 43 services give stability to people who would otherwise have nowhere to go.

Christmas is about coming home – about safety, warmth and belonging. But for thousands of people across the island of Ireland, there’s no door to open and no place to call Home for Christmas.

This Christmas, we are asking you to help us lay the foundation for a new beginning for those experiencing homelessness.

Through the Home for Christmas campaign, Depaul is inviting you to donate with us to build hope and help provide the foundations for a real home for those living in emergency homelessness accommodation this Christmas.

Your Gift Provides a Way Home

Your donation directly funds the vital, frontline supports that move people from crisis to a permanent home.

Don’t Let Them Face Christmas Alone.

Every donation to Depaul this Christmas helps us lay the foundations for change: safe accommodation, a hot meal, mental health support, or the keys to a new beginning. With enough public support, we can help more people find their way home.

Every donation, big or small, builds hope. Please Donate Now

“Before, Christmas meant fear and uncertainty. We spent years homeless, moving between temporary places and never ever feeling settled. Depaul didn’t just give us shelter, they gave us a chance. This year, for the first time in a long time, we’ll be ‘Home for Christmas’ – and that means everything to us.”
