In this issue…

It was a sound he’d heard a thousand times before. But when Seán closed his front door behind him for the final time that cold winter morning, the clunk of the latch felt like a slap.

It was the moment he had to face the terrible truth — he was homeless.

Seán is forever grateful to you for your kindness, your generosity, and for helping him hold onto hope, even on his very darkest day.

For those with no bed of their own…

Last year, Depaul agreed to take over six homeless hostels in Wexford, Cork, Carlow, Longford and Waterford. But now we urgently need your help to replace 224 tired, old mattresses…

Every new mattress costs around €89. Our dream is to raise enough to renew all 224 beds in our new services across the Republic of Ireland.

We also urgently need your help to replace 87 mattresses at our homeless hostels in Northern Ireland in Antrim, Down, Derry and Tyrone… Each new mattress here costs £70.

Will you help give someone who has known too many nights on the cold, hard street the comfort and relief of a sound nights sleep?

<<YES, I’ll send nights of comfort and relief >>

Thank you for giving if you can. Your gift will bring comfort and relief to tired aching bones for many years to come
