History:

Little Britain Street service was opened in 2016 as a direct response to the rise in the number of rough sleepers in Dublin. The service originally provided 63 beds. In late 2018 Little Britain Street transitioned from an Emergency service to a fully Supported Temporary Accommodation (STA) service.

What we do:

We provide 82 bed spaces for single men, women and couples. Each service user is assigned a dedicated keyworker and a bespoke support plan is agreed to help service users achieve their goals and to move away from homelessness. In addition there is weekly Safetynet doctor services on site and also a weekly clinic run by Ana Liffey Drug Project.

Where we operate:

Little Britain Street service is situated in Dublin City Centre.

Partners:

The service is run in conjunction with the Dublin Region Homeless Executive and Dublin City Council. Onsite medical support is provided by Safetynet Primary Care and Anna Liffey Drug Project.

Referrals:

All referrals are accepted through the Dublin Region Homeless Executive Central Placement Service.
