Mater Dei
History:

Mater Dei has been supporting vulnerable families since 2006 and was Depaul’s first accommodation based service in Northern Ireland. Originally Atlantic House Depaul took over management of this family service in partnership with Newington Housing Association.

What we do:

Mater Dei provides accommodation with support to 13 families at any one time. Support is based on individual family needs with a robust support plan being jointly developed with the family to incorporate realistic and achievable goals and outcomes. Families are afforded the time and space to address the issues that led to their homelessness.

The service offers a range of activities and workshops for families e.g. cookery Workshops, Outings, Arts & Crafts, Wellbeing Events and Activities with a focus of equality, diversity and inclusion.
