‘Stay at home’…what if you don’t have a home?

It’s hard to imagine not having a front door to close behind you. Or having to carry your life’s belongings in one bag, through the wet and windy streets. It’s hard for most of us to even imagine this during the ‘normal’ times.

Now imagine trying to do this during a life threatening pandemic. Often our most fragile are faced with a double threat to their health – homeless, in poor health and socially isolated. With a pandemic this year the situation looked even bleaker.

With a vaccine on the horizon, things are starting to look up…

But there is still a long way to go in this fight and our most fragile homeless are still at risk. We need to….
